It's hard to believe we've already stepped into a new year. As we look back on 2025, we're continually amazed at how God provided through each of you: our volunteers, donors, supporters, and prayer partners. In the past year, we've seen His faithfulness in action through food delivered, women served, homes repaired, and lives impacted by the hope of Christ.
While it’s been a little while since we’ve sent out a newsletter update, your support has never stopped making a difference. Even when you didn’t see every story, you were part of each one. Beautiful Feet cordially invites you to join us for our 5th Annual Beautiful Feet Derby Day Fundraiser on Saturday, May 2nd at 10 AM, hosted at Family Church. "I have seen a HUGE impact. We serve a community where many families do not have cars and have to use a taxi for transportation. This extra food helps keep our kiddos and families fed over the weekend. I’ve had multiple students stop me while we’re passing out the bags and ask for one because they don’t see food like that at home. After calling their guardians, most are beyond grateful to have this support. I also have families who have gone through job loss or other tough times and have shared how helpful these bags are. Even families who, in past years, received one bag per student say how grateful they are to have any bags coming home."

Team Spotlight: Barney Williams |
Barney Williams has been our Street Impact Director since May 2018. Before Street Impact became a formal ministry, he was already living out its mission: serving people and meeting practical needs in the community through home repair projects, primarily accessibility ramps & bathroom renovations.
A fun fact about Barney and his wife, Donna, is that they are the proud grandparents of seven grandchildren, a role that brings lots of joy and keeps life exciting. Barney and Donna stay busy attending their games, faithfully cheering them on from the sidelines, and supporting them whether they’re on the field or leading the cheers.
He shares that one of the most meaningful parts of being a part of Straight Street Ministry has been knowing there is strong support to help meet so many home repair needs across Northeast Georgia. Being part of a ministry that can respond in tangible ways makes a lasting impact not only on homes but on hearts.
Barney is encouraged by seeing needs met through all three of the programs of Straight Street. Watching lives be touched and having the opportunity to share the love of Christ through both word and action make serving here deeply rewarding. We are so grateful for his faithful service and the lasting impact he continues to make through his dedication to serving others! |
